The Great Little Book of Happiness has been written because many people "know in their bones" that it is possible to lead a happy life, but in spite of living in a society where there is abundant material and technological wealth, they find that true happiness is elusive and remains something of an unfulfilled hope or dream.

This book shows that happiness need not be elusive because it is a state of mind that arises when we stop to look for it and when we instead contact our true inner, peaceful and endlessly resourceful nature. Step by step, the reader is shown how to undo the causes of unhappiness and replace them with those that result in a joyful state of being whilst still living a normal life.

Andrew Marshall is a practitioner and teacher of mediation and t'ai chi and, aided closely by his wife Gloria, has been running courses and workshops designed to deepen awareness and enhance the art of living for many years.
