Our system is easy and straightforward. We hold stock of your books in our warehouse in York. We receive orders by mail, email, fax or phone, then speedily process and supply them to customers worldwide. We can also take pre-orders before your book is launched.

At the end of each month we send you the entire revenue from sales, along with a book sales report. When stock of your books gets low, you are sent an automatic reminder asking you to replenish stock.

Amazon Marketplace

All books with ISBN numbers are automatically listed on Amazon. However, this does not mean Amazon will hold stock. Initially they are likely to indicate an order time of 4 to 6 weeks! When they receive an order, they will order copies from you, expecting their 60% discount.

The long delivery time usually deters sales, and if you have to give 60% discount, it is unlikely you will make a profit on Amazon sales. YPDBooks on Amazon Marketplace provides a cost effective alternative. The YPD Marketplace Bookshop will be listed as an alternative supplier, with a delivery time of 2 days. Amazon sends the orders to us. They will take 17.5% commission, but that is better than 60%!

What it Costs

For individual authors with single books, the one-off annual fee is £150. Please contact us if you have more than one title.

For independent publishers with a small list of titles, please contact us for a quote. It will still be a commission-free one off charge.
