Peter’s Asparagus

 

This is the first book in a series of short stories which are easy reading, sensitive yet entertaining for all ages. They tell a story of a young boy who has Asperger’s syndrome, autistic spectrum disorder and some of the difficulties that surround him on a daily basis in particular within a school day.

 

The aim of these stories is to help gain further understanding and insight into difference in today’s society. In this day and age individuality is encouraged and so it is hoped that these books will inspire food for thought, in understanding and acceptance of others.

 

Peter Does P.E.

 

This is the second story in the Asparagus Series, about a boy, Peter who has Asperger's Syndrome, a form of Autism. The stories are light-hearted and based within an educational setting. They explore some of the difficulties and affects that exist for a child with this condition, and for those around them.

 

Peter had often thought that P.E was boring and a waste of energy, but, was today's lesson about to change his mind?
